FitMuslim Terms of Use

Version 2026-10 · last updated on 25 October 2026

This is a translation of the Dutch text; if the two differ, the Dutch version applies.

1. Who we are

FitMuslim is offered by Maben & Co FZC-LLC, Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (licence number 4306054.01). Contact: support@fitmuslim.com. For privacy: privacy@fitmuslim.com.

2. What FitMuslim is

FitMuslim helps you keep track of your prayers, Quran, adhkar, food, water, supplements, training and steps. You use the app at your own responsibility.

3. No medical advice

FitMuslim, including Adam, the AI coach in the app, is not a doctor, dietitian or trainer. Goals, estimates (such as the calories from a plate photo) and tips are general information. They may contain mistakes. If you have an illness or an injury, are pregnant, take medication or have (a history of) an eating disorder, ask a doctor for advice first before you start a goal, diet or workout. Stop training if you feel pain.

4. No religious rulings

FitMuslim gives no fatwas or religious rulings. For such questions, the app and Adam refer you to an imam or scholar. Prayer times are calculations based on your settings and may differ from those of your mosque. Check them if in doubt. We show religious texts from fixed sources; the source is credited alongside.

5. The scanner

The scanner names which known ingredients appear on a product’s ingredient list and warns you about what you said you don’t eat. FitMuslim is not a halal certification and does not say whether a product is halal or haram. Product data comes from Open Food Facts, an open database that anyone can add to, so it may be incomplete or out of date. The label on the product always prevails.

6. Your account

  • You have one account, and you are responsible for what happens with your email address. Don’t share your sign-in code with anyone; we never ask for it.
  • You are at least 16 years old.
  • You can always delete your account yourself in the app (Profile → Account). All your data then disappears.
  • We may block or delete an account in case of abuse, for example attempts to harm the app or other users, or to get around the limits of the free plan.

7. Free and Pro

  • FitMuslim has a free version with limits, for example on the number of questions to Adam and the number of plate scans.
  • With FitMuslim Pro, wider limits apply. You see the price and the term in the app before you pay. You pay through the App Store or Google Play. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the term. You cancel in your phone’s settings, under your subscriptions (App Store or Google Play); you keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
  • During the test period, Pro may be offered for free. There are no costs attached to this.

8. What you may not do

  • Use the app for anything that is against the law.
  • Try to break into the app, the server or someone else’s account.
  • Copy, resell or modify the app or its content.
  • Knowingly misuse Adam or the scanner, for example to get around the limits or to have harmful content made.

9. Content from others

Quran text and translations come from Quran Foundation, adhkar and duas from OpenDua (Hisn al-Muslim) and product data from Open Food Facts (ODbL). That content falls under their own terms. We do not change religious texts.

10. Availability and changes

We do our best to make the app work well and safely, but cannot promise that it will always work without errors or interruptions. We may change and improve the app. If these terms change on an important point, we will let you know in the app.

11. Liability

We are not liable for damage that arises because you followed a goal, estimate, prayer time, scan or AI answer, except in the case of intent or gross negligence on our part. Statutory rights you have as a consumer always continue to apply.

12. Law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If we cannot resolve something together, you can turn to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection that the consumer law of your own country gives you.
